As an Sales and Support Specialist at InkSmith, you'll play a crucial role in driving our growth while sharing our vision and values.

A week in the life of our Sales & Support Specialist...
Manage Inbound Sales Communications:
- Handle all inbound sales inquiries via email and phone promptly.
- Provide product information, quotes, and support to customers, addressing inquiries related to product, shipping, and payment.
Coordinate Professional Development Sessions:
- Schedule and coordinate Professional Development/Learning sessions upon request.
Process Purchase Orders and Sales Orders:
- Process inbound Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.
- Provide quotes and follow up to convert inquiries into Purchase Orders.
Execute School-Level Sales Campaigns:
- Lead school-level outbound sales campaigns to generate leads and convert them into Purchase Orders.
- Conduct targeted email campaigns to connect with principals and generate sales leads for our products.
Support Post-Sales Processes:
- Manage relevant post-sales communications to ensure smooth delivery and onboarding, enhancing the customer experience.
- Complete product registration for customers who purchase extended warranties.
- Update contact properties in HubSpot and maintain accurate post-sales data.
Provide Administrative Support:
- Assist Account Executives/General Managers with administrative tasks.
- Provide shipping and product quotes as needed.
- Redirect board-level leads to Account Executives/General Manager and schedule meetings.
- Manage reporting and tracking for grant applications/ opportunities
- Attend meetings and travel to conferences when appropriate.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related roles, preferably in the education sector.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for building quality, long-lasting relationships with your team and customers.
- Proficiency in CRM software, preferably HubSpot.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude and a commitment to achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You know how to use data to drive strategic decision making and want to express your findings/opinions with the team.
- We are a lean company with high-growth potential and often need our team to help with numerous tasks. You are a team player willing to take on tasks outside your role and love taking on a challenge and learning new things in the process.
Bonus Points:
- Fluent in French (both oral and written)
- Experience in education/edtech industry

You captivate your audience in whichever methods and media you communicate through, demonstrating an understanding of their specific problems and connecting them to our solutions, while adding creativity to ensure you create a memorable impression.

Compensation
$60k base plus a 3% commission on your closed sales. First year commissions approx. $15-30k .
