Found in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Canadian Shield quickly became one of the largest PPE manufacturing facilities in the country.
Today The Canadian Shield is an online retailer of rapid tests, personal protective equipment, health supplements and more.
Forward Education is InkSmith's sister-company, operating as the international extension of the company, focused specifically on coding and climate education with micro:bit and the Climate Action Kit.
InkSmith acquired 3D Printing Materials company Filaments.ca in May 2024 to expand their offering of 3D printing filament and materials.
